Wheeee!
On our last trip to MI we came home with a couple of guinea pigs. My sister was getting rid of theirs and somehow they ended up with us. Jackson has named them Tom and Jerry.
Easter was good. It was a little cold and snowy here but the Easter Bunny was sneaky (according to Jackson) and hid an Easter basket in his tent with a trail of Easter eggs leading back to his room for him to follow. Somehow we got lucky and Jackson doesn't like candy, maybe a sucker or two but that's it. So the Easter bunny left toys, trains, money, and a giant cookie.
We've made a few friends from the library and also joined the MOM's Club of Mequon and have been keeping busy with play dates and playgroups. So far we've gone to a swim center, an open gym with gymnastics equipment, and a play center. Next week we are going to the fire dept. Jackson can't wait!
Last week Jackson and I met with the realtor and went thru some homes. We found a couple that we want to go back thru with Brandon. Since then Brandon and I also found a few more in different areas. Hopefully we'll find something soon. The close quarters here are starting to drive me crazy. We don't want to rush into anything but hope to find something soon. After this move I don't want to have move again for a LONG time.
This past weekend my sister and her family came for a visit. Jackson had a blast playing with his cousins. It was finally a beautiful weekend. Sunny and warm and of course a little windy. It seems like it's always windy here. Sat we went to the zoo. Sun my sister and I took the boys to a couple of different parks in the area while Brandon and Trevor went to the Brewers game. We all had a great time. Then ended the night swimming and hot tubing at the hotel. This morning was quite a bit cooler and Jackson and I went to the hotel for breakfast and a final swim. Then it was back to our house to play a little longer before they had to leave.
Potty training is still a work in progress. He's doing much better with his stinkers but not quite mastered them yet. He has quite the Thomas the train collection now though. Next we get to work with pulling our pants up and down and wiping. Oh, and aim. He needs a little work on that too!
We've been looking into preschools for next fall and leaning more toward the church ones. There is an open house tomorrow night that we're going to check out.
I think that about covers it. Hope everyone is doing well and we'll try to post again soon.

He is so grown! I miss him sooo much! The classroom is a great change for me but things are very busy. I have some really sweet kids but none can take Jackson's place! Please send me a new picture that I can put up in my classroom! I may need to send him one of me so that he does not forget!!!!!! Love you all!
